Community Involvement
At Budget Propane, we believe being part of the community means giving back in meaningful ways. Over the years, we’ve proudly supported a variety of local initiatives and charities that make a difference in the lives of our neighbours. From partnering with organizations that provide care and experiences for children facing serious medical challenges, to supporting local events and community programs, our team is committed to lending a hand where it’s needed most. We’re more than just your propane provider—we’re your neighbours, invested in creating a stronger, more connected community.

Supporting Cancer Research!
You may have seen our prostate cancer truck around town – we regularly support the Canadian Cancer Society by donating a percentage of our sales to research and other support activities.
Other Community Support
Budget Propane is proud to support organizations that bring warmth and hope to our communities. From helping families through Fuel for Warmth and walking alongside others in the Coldest Night of the Year, to empowering recovery with Teen Challenge and supporting accessibility through the CNIB, we’re committed to making a positive impact beyond propane.

Fuel For Warmth
Fuel for Warmth is a registered charity in Haliburton County, founded in 2014 to ensure no one faces winter without heat. The charity began after discovering families and seniors forced to endure freezing homes—children living in snowsuits and seniors relying on pets and blankets for warmth. Our mission is simple: provide emergency heating assistance to those in financial hardship or crisis. From delivering fuel or wood to helping with hydro, we respond immediately to calls for help. Fuel for Warmth offers a compassionate application process, partners with providers to deliver support quickly, and raises awareness about heating insecurity. We don’t just provide fuel—we provide hope, dignity, and community spirit. Together, we can make sure no one is left in the cold.

At Budget Propane, giving back is part of who we are. That’s why we proudly support Alzheimer’s Awareness, a cause that touches so many families in our community. To spark conversation and show our commitment, we’ve dedicated a fully wrapped propane truck to help spread awareness everywhere it goes—because together, we can make a difference.
